“The Mecca” began in Tyler’s college days, when his house naturally became a common gathering place. A group of friends, plus friends-of-friends, would converge on “The Mecca” garage in College Station, TX. Drinks would be shared while the guys worked on their latest motorcycle project, cut each other’s hair, and horsed around as guys do. We’ll just say this was Mecca’s grunge stage.
A number of years later, Mecca evolved into what it is now. Sarah and Tyler started the business in 2020 out of a natural love for delighting family and friends with craft cocktails and coffee. Mecca was the natural choice for a business name.
Sarah comes from a diverse background in event planning, customer experience, and business operations and management. She understands the importance of client experience and is detail-oriented with every client.
Mecca is ever-evolving (the grunge stage will always be with us in spirit), but we will always be focused on bringing people together.
When Tyler and Sarah are not slinging drinks or building bars, you can find them romping around in the mountains and desert with their dogs, Flint and Birdie.
